BRIDAL FAQs
PREPARATIONS
You can book me as early as a year ahead, and many brides do — especially for popular months.
But I also understand that plans change, and sometimes you need someone just days before the wedding. If I’m available, I’ll always try to accommodate you.
To keep my schedule stable for current brides, I don’t typically move or change bookings within 3 months of the wedding date.
On my own, I can take care of 6–8 people (hair, makeup, or a combination). Each service takes about 45–60 minutes, so I’ll build a smooth, relaxed morning schedule based on your party size and your ceremony time.
If more people need styling, or if we’re working with an early start, I’ll bring a professional assistant so everyone is finished on time and your morning stays calm and enjoyable.
While a trial is optional, it can be very helpful, especially for brides who don’t usually wear makeup. It allows you to see how different textures, eyeshadows, or foundation coverage feel on your skin, and we can adjust everything until it feels just right.
It’s your moment to relax, try ideas, and make sure your bridal look feels natural to you.
Securing Your Date
A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your wedding date.
Your date is not reserved until the booking fee is received.
Cancellations by the Client
• If you need to cancel your booking more than 3 months before the wedding date, only the booking fee is retained.
• Cancellations made within 3 months of the wedding date require full payment of the agreed remaining balance, as it is unlikely the date can be rebooked at short notice.
• Reducing the number of services within 3 months of the wedding date will not reduce the final balance.
Changes to the Booking
• Any changes to the services (number of people, start time, location, etc.) must be communicated as early as possible.
• Major changes may require an updated quote or may not be possible depending on timing and availability.
Trial Cancellations
• Trial appointments can be rescheduled once free of charge with at least 72 hours’ notice.
• Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 72 hours’ notice will require payment for the missed appointment.
Cancellations by the Artist
In the extremely unlikely event that I must cancel due to illness or an emergency, I will:
• Notify you immediately
• Arrange a trusted, professional replacement artist from my network OR
• Issue a full refund of your booking fee
(Any paid trial fees remain non-refundable.)
Your peace of mind is my priority.
Weather, Travel & Unforeseen Events
If severe weather, travel restrictions, or unexpected events occur, both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to continue with the booking safely.
Should travel to the venue become impossible, the booking fee remains non-refundable.
On-the-Day Delays
If your morning runs behind due to delays not caused by the artist (late arrivals, bridesmaids not ready, etc.), responsibility for timing falls to the client. The artist will complete as much as possible within the agreed schedule.
